27th Macau International Fireworks Display Contest unveils the first dazzling night
The 27th Macau International Fireworks Display Contest officially kicked off tonight (5 September) with the first dazzling fireworks presented by Malaysian team. The spectacular attracted many locals and visitors. The second fireworks display by Grupo Luso Pirotecnia from Portugal is cancelled due to delay of transportation of pyrotechnic materials.
The 27th Macau International Fireworks Display Contest is held above the sea in front of Macau Tower on 5, 12, 19, 27 September and 1 October. French and Austrian teams will come on stage on 27 September, a day to celebrate both the Mid-Autumn Festival and the World Tourism Day. Teams from Australia and Mainland China will boost the festive vibe in town with their fireworks finale on 1 October, the National Day.
Same as before, MGTO requests the teams to orchestrate their pyrotechnic shows with music and laser effects in a way that brings out their theme and enhances the audience experience with a pyrotechnic extravaganza. Spectators can watch the live broadcast of the Contest with background music on TDM – Macau Chinese TV Channel and TDM - Radio Macau’s Chinese Channel (FM 100.7) each fireworks evening. Locals and visitors can therefore enjoy the fireworks shows in different ways.
MGTO again presents the "Macau International Fireworks Display Contest SMS Game" jointly with CTM this year to encourage locals to be part of the event. Citizens are also welcome to join the Trophy Design Competition, Photo Competition and Student Drawing Competition of the 27th Macau International Fireworks Display Contest organized by the Tourist Office. The three annual competitions are now open for applications.
Famous pyrotechnic companies came from around the world to join the past editions of the Macau International Fireworks Display Contest. Without exception, the Contest rolls out a strong line-up this year, with ten teams coming from Malaysia, Portugal (performance date to be confirmed), Finland, Taiwan China, Korea, Italy, France, Austria, Australia and Mainland China (in the order of performance time and date). This is the first time for the Contest to feature teams from Malaysia and Finland. The pyrotechnic companies from Italy and France will also make their debut in Macau. The first fireworks display starts at 9 p.m. each night, followed by the second show at 9:40 p.m.
MGTO and the General Union of Neighbors Association of Macau are joining hands again to host Fireworks Carnival 2015 at the open area next to Macau Tower during the fireworks evenings. Featuring stage performances and delicacy stalls, the Carnival will add a lively ambience to the fireworks nights.
第二十七屆澳門國際煙花比賽匯演耀目登場
第二十七屆澳門國際煙花比賽匯演今（5日）晚正式上演，由來自馬來西亞的煙花隊伍率先呈獻精彩表演，吸引大批居民和旅客觀賞。而第二場的葡萄牙Luso煙花公司的煙花表演，由於其燃放物料未能如期運抵澳門，故有關表演被取消。
第二十七屆澳門國際煙花比賽匯演於九月五日、十二日、十九日、二十七日及十月一日，在澳門旅遊塔對開海面舉行。其中，九月二十七日是中秋節及世界旅遊日，當晚將有法國和奧地利的煙花表演，而十月一日國慶日，將由來自澳洲和中國內地的煙花隊伍表演，為節日增添喜慶氣氛。
本屆澳門國際煙花比賽匯演繼續要求參賽隊伍在燃放煙花時，配上音樂及鐳射燈光演出，以襯托煙花表演的主題特色，加強觀賞性及豐富演出元素，同時，澳門電台中文頻道（FM100.7）及澳廣視的澳視澳門頻道在每個演出晚上直播現場盛況及煙花背景音樂，讓居民和旅客選擇不同途徑欣賞煙花匯演。
旅遊局今年繼續與澳門電訊合作推出澳門國際煙花比賽匯演手機短訊遊戲，以提高全城的參與度。此外，每年由旅遊局舉辦的澳門國際煙花比賽匯演獎盃設計比賽、攝影比賽和學生繪畫比賽現正接受報名，歡迎市民踴躍參加。
歷屆的澳門國際煙花比賽匯演均有世界著名的煙花公司參與，今年也不例外。參賽的十支隊伍分別來自（按比賽程序）馬來西亞、葡萄牙（表演日期待定）、芬蘭、中國台灣、韓國、意大利、法國、奧地利、澳洲和中國內地。其中，馬來西亞和芬蘭兩地為首次參加；意大利和法國的煙花公司同樣首次亮相。每晚的第一場煙花表演在九時進行，第二場在九時四十分開始。
旅遊局與澳門街坊會聯合總會繼續合作，於每個煙花比賽匯演晚上，在旅遊塔旁地段舉行“2015火樹銀花嘉年華”，現場設有舞台表演及美食攤位，增添熱鬧氣氛。
