The 9th Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau is finally here. This is certainly the BIGGEST thing for foodies around Pearl River Delta. Released on 9th November, Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau features 8 Three-Starred Restaurants, 19 Two-Starred Restaurants, 53 One-Starred Restaurants and 75 BIB Gourmand Restaurants.

Michelin Stars are not lifetime achievements. Chefs have to keep innovating and developing their skills to keep their stars if gained any in the past. For young chefs specially, this is more of encouragement and recognition. As for our foodies, Michelin Star means more than a quality and service guarantee, it is a guiding star to create a memorial dining experience with your friends, family and beloved ones.

In comparison to the previous guide, the 8 Three-Starred restaurants have successfully continued to be the best of the best among all the inspected restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau. There are also 4 restaurants received 2 Star recognitions and 10 restaurants received 1 Star recognitions for the first time for year 2017.

米芝莲于11月9日在香港公布《米芝莲指南香港澳门2017》的收录名单,当中包括238间香港餐厅及68间澳门餐厅。

在本年度, 6间于香港及2间于澳门的餐厅均维持三星评级,与全球其他约100间三星餐厅并列。

同时,四家餐厅本年度首次获得二星,分别为:位于中环.石板街酒店二楼的Ta Vie,其主厨佐藤秀明(Sato HIDEAKI)擅于烹调融合日本及法国烹饪技巧的创意美食;柏屋(Kashiwaya)则是大阪母餐厅的分支,专长于日本料理;泓(Mizumi)位于澳门,提供由三位驻店日本厨师嶋宫勤(SHIMAMIYA)、吉田纯一(YOSHIDA)及元吉和仁(Kazuhito MOTOYOSHI)设计,并以日本食材烹调而成的日本佳肴;最后,风味居亦位于澳门,金光闪烁的装潢令人印象深刻,餐厅提供湘、川佳肴,顾客更可现场观看厨师准备各种面食。

《米芝莲指南》国际总监米高•艾利斯先生(Michael Ellis) 表示:“香港一直提供高质素及多元化的美食佳肴,本年度的美食指南中就包括了49种不同风格的料理。同时,在过去三年间我们的评审员留意到日本菜在香港有了显注的发展,更多的日本厨师决定在此开设分店,把他们的美食带到香港。”他又补充:“此潮流充分展现在米芝莲指南香港澳门2017当中,就如大阪餐厅柏屋的香港分店获得了二星殊荣,而来自东京的Sushi Tokami则是首次得到一星。”

本年度有41间提供不同菜肴的香港餐厅荣获一星评级,其中有7间为首次获星。当中VEA-餐厅名称以店主Vicky及Antonia的起首字母命名,完美呈现考究及新颖的美食;Épure则是一间提供法国当代料理的优雅餐厅;IM Teppanyaki & Wine的顾客可以于酒吧位置享受多重感观体验并品尝以高质食材制成的美味日本菜式;Beefbar是一间扒房;另外亦有广东菜餐厅嘉麟楼及逸东轩获得星级嘉许。

于澳门,11间餐厅荣获一星评级,当中有3间餐厅为首次获此殊荣,包括:丽轩、玥龙轩及帝影楼,全部均为提供广东菜肴的餐厅。

另外有75间餐厅获得“米芝莲车胎人美食推介”,此奖项旨在嘉许能于港币300元以下提供三道高质素菜式的餐厅。

最后,本年度的街头小吃类别分别于香港及澳门收录了21间及12间街头小吃,反映本地美食的风貌及生活风格。
