Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen collaborated with Shenzhen Pink Ribbon Breast Care Centre to host a “Breast Loving Day” charity cocktail at Café Zen Terrace. The hotel invited corporations and social partners to be representatives of the “Pink Ribbon” and help promote public awareness of breast cancer and the care of self and others’ health. Donations were given to the Shenzhen Pink Ribbon Care Fund.
From 15 to 31 October 2016, Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen is holding the Pink October charity event. The lobby and other public areas have been decorated with pink bouquets. At the same time, Shang Garden, Shang Gourmet and Lobby Lounge have created two “Pink” cocktails. Fifty per cent of the revenue from the “Pink” cocktails and RMB 10 from each buffet lunch and dinner of Café Zen sold are donated to the Pink Ribbon Care Fund. Furthermore, the hotel donated 10 pieces of room vouchers worth a total of RMB 29,000 to breast cancer patients to let them and their families experience a relaxing moment together at the hotel .
Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen is the first five-star hotel in Shenzhen to participate in Pink October charity events, with focus on Shangri-La’s Care for People projects in education and health. The Pink Ribbon “Breast Loving Day” is part of Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen’s “Sustainability” programme, aiming to promote breast cancer awareness and support fundraising for the cause.
Invited corporations and social partners attended the “Breast Loving Day” cocktail on 25th October, which was co-hosted by Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen and Shenzhen Pink Ribbon Breast Care Centre. Sponsor representatives from Asia Pacific Famous Female Federation, HEMERA, V7 Club and Rock Salt, which donated cash RMB 10,000 each to the Pink Ribbon Care Fund, were also present at the event.
At the “Breast Loving Day” cocktail, eight breast cancer patients participated in a catwalk for hand-drawn scarves and the International Women’s Peace Group gave a wonderful dance performance on stage. Teachers from Pink Ribbon Breast Care Centre also entertained everyone with a musical therapy drum performance. Revenue from sold goods provided by other corporations were all given to the Pink Ribbon Care Fund. At the same time, Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen set up a pink photograph booth where guests wearing the pink ribbon could take photos and help endorse “Breast Loving Day”.

10月15日至31日期间，深圳福田香格里拉大酒店发起粉红十月公益活动，用粉色的花束装点了大堂及其他公共区域。同时香乐园酒吧、香坊、大堂吧特别打造两款粉红色鸡尾酒，并将鸡尾酒所有收入的50%捐赠给粉红丝带关爱基金。在此期间，鲜咖啡自助餐厅每售卖一份自助餐即捐赠10元人民币给粉红丝带关爱基金。另外捐赠总价值人民币29，000元的十张豪华客房房券给到乳腺癌患者的家庭，让他们有机会体酒店的好客之道。
10月25日晚，各界爱心企业、爱心人士以及媒体应邀参加了由福田香格里拉大酒店及深圳市粉红丝带乳腺关爱中心共同举办的“爱乳日”慈善酒会，他们分别是亚太杰出女性联合会、深圳市赫美拉健康管理有限公司、V7俱乐部、岩塩，共乐捐人民币4万元。现场，8位乳腺癌的妈妈们表演了手绘丝巾的走秀，世界和平妇女组织带来了精彩的舞蹈表演，还有来自粉红丝带乳腺关爱中心的培训老师带领大家共同体验了鼓圈音乐理疗法的魅力。现场来自其他爱心企业及爱心人士的义卖品所得善款全数捐赠给粉红丝带关爱基金。同时，深圳福田香格里拉大酒店特别为慈善酒会搭建了的粉红色的影棚，让每一位现场嘉宾有机会佩戴粉红丝带，为粉红丝带“爱乳日”拍照代言，通过此活动来警示自己及周边的人学习乳腺健康知识，做粉红佳人，做更好的自己。
