China leads the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards with 13 establishments included in the 2016 list. Amber (No.4) in Hong Kong reclaims the title of The Best Restaurant in China, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, from last year’s winner Ultraviolet (No.7).

Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, revealed the 2016 list at an awards ceremony at the W Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

Gaggan in Bangkok has claimed the top spot in the list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants for a second consecutive year, retaining the coveted title of The Best Restaurant in Asia, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna.

Shanghai-based chef Paul Pairet is the 2016 recipeient of the Chefs’ Choice Award, voted by his peers, while his restaurants Ultraviolet and Mr & Mrs Bund rank No.7 and No. 28 respectively. The other Shanghai entry, Fu He Hui, rises one place from 2015 to No.18. Macau is represented by Robuchon Au Dôme (No.35).

The 2016 list boasts nine Hong Kong restaurants, including longtime favourites Lung King Heen (No.10), 8 ½ Otto E Mezzo Bombana (No.13) and The Chairman (No.27) as well as first-time entry Ta Vie (No.48).

由圣培露 (S.Pellegrino) 和巴娜 (Acqua Panna)赞助的2016年“亚洲50最佳餐厅”年度榜单今日在泰国曼谷W酒店揭晓,云集亚洲区内一众知名大厨、餐饮业界名人及嘉宾参加此年度盛事。

Gaggan今年蝉联圣培露及巴娜赞助的亚洲最佳餐厅奖和圣培露及巴娜赞助的泰国最佳餐厅奖。

位于上海的法藉厨师Paul Pairet为2016年主厨之选的得主,由所有亚洲50最佳餐厅入选餐厅的主厨互相投票选出。他旗下的两家餐厅Ultraviolet及Mr & Mrs Bund分别占第7位及第28位。位于上海的福和慧今年上升一位至第18位,而位于澳门的餐厅Robuchon Au Dôme 则占第35位。

其余位于中国上榜的餐厅均来自香港,包括多年来都入选的龙景轩(第10位)、8 ½ Otto E Mezzo Bombana (第13位)、大班楼(第27位) 、天空龙吟(第33位)、福临门(第34名)、L’atelier de Joel Robuchon (第40位)及 Bo Innovation (第41位)。旅 (Ta Vie) 为新上榜的餐厅,占第48位。

2016年,亚洲50最佳餐厅踏入第四届,一共有十家新餐厅亮相。紧随着中国,新加坡及日本各占十席。跻身2016年榜单的餐厅分别来自13个国家,入选餐厅分布国家的数目为历届最多,充分展现了亚洲餐饮界百花齐放的盛况。
