Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou will hold colourful Easter activity “Easter Extravaganza in The Park” with this year’s biggest Easter egg hunt and lots of entertainment in the lush garden on 27 March 2016.
As one of most popular symbols for Easter, Easter eggs represent spring and hope. This year’s Easter will be held on Saturday. Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou will prepare 5,000 painted eggs and place them in the lush garden for hunting. Among these will be 20 gold eggs, people who are lucky enough to find them and the top three eggs hunters will get an extra prize.
The egg hunt and do-it-yourself activities will bring fun to both parents and kids. There will be eggs, pigment and pens with which kids may make colourful Easter eggs. Another interesting activity is the kite hand drawing. Kite, a traditional craft with a long history, is part of the childhood memories of many Chinese people. Professional kite teachers will teach kids to paint the kite, which they can fly with their parents in the hotel’s big garden.
Not to be missed are the live shows, especially a Monkey King show for this Year of the Monkey. It will remind guests of the classic character in Journey to the West. There will also be a lovely clown, amazing acrobatics and magic performances. Moreover, a live band will entertain the guests during this happy festival.
