Back in Macau for the eighth consecutive year, MGM MACAU is hosting its signature annual event – “Oktoberfest Macau at MGM,” an 11-day celebration of authentic German culture and entertainment at The Vista II from October 13 to 23 this year. With the continued support of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hong Kong, German Macau Business Association, and the Macao Government Tourist Office, MGM MACAU is proud to bring the exceptional festivity to locals and tourists, as one of the many diversified experiences that the resort offers. This year’s most unique element is the theme song specially composed by Högl Fun Band for MGM’s Oktoberfest named “Nei Hou, Macau!” (Hello, Macau!) as their way of greeting friends and fans of the annual beerfest.
Theme Song Written by Germans Includes Cantonese Catch-phrases
This year’s MGM Oktoberfest is once again featuring remarkable performances by the Högl Fun Band, who have specially prepared a theme song titled “Nei Hou, Macau!” (Hello, Macau!) for the celebrated event, epitomizing the effortless blend of Western festivities transported to the East in Macau. The Band has written in a few Cantonese catch-phrases which they have learned in the past seven years when they performed at the Macau Oktoberfest.
“As the featured band at the Munich Oktoberfest for many years, we understand the heritage of Oktoberfest, and are dedicated to bringing in new elements to MGM’s Oktoberfest,” Michael Högl, the lead singer and band leader said. “This song captures the essence of our time spent in Macau in the past seven years, where we have met great and fun people, who have taught us Cantonese and the Chinese culture. This is the first time we have composed a song in Asian language, and this is a creative collaboration with MGM MACAU. We feel that this is the perfect way of saying ‘Happy to see you here again’ to all our friends at the Oktoberfest Macau, with whom we have grown to be so attached.”

On top of the remarkable performances, Bavarian beer maids in dirndls are serving one of six official Munich Oktoberfest beer, Spaten, as well as other alcoholic and non-alcoholic brews and beverages for guests. The impressive tent, decked in traditional décor, houses carnival game booths, folk music and dance performances, and delectable German cuisine. This year, guests will enjoy Bavarian entertainment for brunch with the introduction of the first-ever Family Friendly Special Day Time Oktoberfest on October 22 from 11am to 3pm.

全城瞩目的年度盛事－第八届“美高梅澳门德国啤酒节”于2016年 10 月 13至 23 日载誉回归！一连十一日的啤酒节庆典，让宾客犹如置身于德国感受最正宗的日耳曼风情啤酒节。
德国啤酒节起源于慕尼黑，已有200多年历史，原为庆祝皇室婚礼及农作物大丰收之传统民俗庆典，至今已成为世界闻名的啤酒嘉年华盛会。澳门美高梅自2009年起连续第八年主办澳门德国啤酒节，历届参与人数累计共多达10万人，合共享用96,606公升啤酒、21,785公斤德国猪手、9,696只烧鸡及14,379个自家制椒盐薄脆面包，活动规模每年递增。本届啤酒节将添加更多特别娱乐元素，为宾客带来更多惊喜。
澳门美高梅的德国啤酒节由餐饮体验、娱乐节目及场地布置均一丝不苟。宾客可尽情品尝地道德国美食，如烧猪手、烤肉肠等特色菜肴；畅饮传统德国啤酒节指定啤酒之一的斯巴登啤酒(Spaten)、无酒精啤酒及小麦啤酒等；欣赏由慕尼黑远道而来的The Högl Fun乐队，及身穿传统服饰的德国表演人员现场载歌载舞，处处洋溢着热闹的巴伐利亚节日气氛。活动场地亦充满德国啤酒节气氛，巨型帐篷以经典的蓝白设计为主调，配合嘉年华游戏摊位，欢乐气氛满载。
