TALENTS TROPHY CHINA 2016

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (CCIFC), in partnership with French Embassy in China and Valeo, hold the fourth edition of the Talents Trophy in Canton on Wednesday, September 21st 2016, at Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich Hotel.

The awards ceremony took place during the Welcome Back Annual Cocktail organized by the CCIFC, gathering over 150 persons, including all laureates, the official partners and decision-makers of French and Chinese member companies of the French Chamber of Commerce. We were delighted to have Mr. Bertrand FURNO, Consul General of France in Guangzhou and Ms. Vaizoue HUYNH, CCIFC South China Vice-president as well.

The Talents Trophy is a competition dedicated to Chinese students following Sino-French majors, in order to make those younger generations aware of tomorrow’s challenges. The aim is to evaluate the business, technical and linguistic skills of the best students regarding actual topics, selected by our official partners, and to reward the most innovative and most talented of them.

The aim is twofold: highlight and encourage Sino-French sections, and support linkages between the business world and the education.

The topic 2016: “Made in China 2025: how can automotive sectors gain from it?”

After the fierce competition, the CCIFC and its partners had the honor to congratulate and reward the following students:

1st prize (RMB 8000): Ms. LUO Ran from Beijing Foreign Studies University
2nd prize (RMB 5000): Ms. LIN Lin from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies
3rd prize (RMB 2500): Ms. CAI Dexin from Nanjing University

Special prize (RMB 1000): Ms. HE Mengran from Beijing Language and Culture University
5th prize: Ms. LI Di from Suzhou University
6th prize: Ms. WENG Yingjie from Central South University
7th prize: Ms. PAN Jiayu from Xianda College of Economics & Humanities Shanghai

International Studies University
8th prize: Ms. ZHANG Jiewen from Xiamen University
9th prize: Mr. CAO Yanyun from China Foreign Affairs University
10th prize: Ms. ZHOU Haiman from Guangxi University for Nationalities
