The two-day Beishan Jazz Festival is ready for another year. This year, the Beishan Music Festival Organizing Committee has invited bands to perform at a cultural site consisting of a Qing Dynasty family hall and a theatre used during the Cultural Revolution; a truly unique venue.
The atmosphere of previous Beishan Jazz Festivals is fantastic. The company who organise the event are also responsible for the protection and development of intangible cultural heritage at this creative industry park, where the festival is to be held. “It’s a small but excellent festival at an extraordinary place” said a previous jazz fan. Many of the local bars and restaurants in Zhuhai are supporting the event who have great food and beverages on offer; which will all be available at the food corner.
Beishan Jazz Festival welcomes 20 more artists from 9 different countries to the stage, including 3-time Grammy award winner Ricardo Vogt! This year promises to be one of the best yet with many different styles of the music we all love, Jazz. Let’s swing!
