The Brazilian Women’s Association (AMBD) located in Dongguan, China, are organizing our traditional Charity Gala/Fund Raiser " One Night in Black & White Charity Party" on May 7th in partnership with Treasure of Hope and Tangla Hotel, 100% of the funds collected from this event will go to the institutions listed below.
1) Handa - This Organization help the people that have leprosy. They advocated the idea of helping people to help themselves and adhere for leprosy rehabilitation of persons providing professional services, promote equality, participation, dedication, and the values of empowerment. By mobilizing social resources to carry out a comprehensive social, psychological, physical and economic rehabilitation, and improve the quality of life and quality of life of the ill, the elimination of leprosy discrimination and create a harmonious and just society. We hope to help raising money to pay for special shoes, eye surgeries ( Cataract & Reconstruction) and Prosthesis.
2) Captivating International - the purpose of this Oraganization is to elevate children above the poverty line. In doing so, there work involves them with orphaned and abandoned children who struggle to survive on remote streets, families trapped in extreme poverty, and whole communities that are failing to thrive due to poor conditions and no funding. There work could not be done without the support and partnership of Chinese officials, on the ground NGOs and passionate local communities. We hope to help raising money for this Eden Project to pay for the cost of a few girl in the project, that cost includes school fee, food, the house expenses.
3) Bring Me Hope (BMH) - For the last 10 years, this organization has provided special Summer camps for orphans and at-risk youth all over China. This year, camps will be held in Chongqing, Nanchang, Taiyuan, Yantai, Zheng Zhou and several volunteers from Dongguan will be going to bring hope to these precious lives! BMH is dedicated to improving the lives and futures of Chinese orphans. It begins at summer camp and continues with year-round programs to meet the ongoing needs of orphans in China. They believe that every person is created with value and it breaks their heart when that is not recognized and children are rejected, abandoned and abused. The experiences and histories of staff and volunteers vary, but one thing binds them together: passion for serving needy children and recruiting others to the same cause.
东莞巴西妇女协会(AMBD)是一个成立于2006年5月的非盈利组织,它致力于帮助任何会讲葡萄牙语的东莞女性居民,无论这些女性从事任何事业或来自任何国家。近期,AMBD将迎来其十周年庆及年度慈善晚会。欢喜之际,AMBD现任总裁Alane Marder希望邀请大家一起庆祝。
本次晚会又称“2016年黑与白慈善之夜”,并将于5月7日在东莞唐拉雅秀酒店举行。
