On April 22nd and 23rd you have a one-time chance to experience an inspiring and fresh ballet show by the Spanish National Ballet (BNE) in Zhuhai. With their program «Zaguán & Alento» the dancers of the BNE will visit Zhuhai on their China tour. They are noted world-wide for the highest level of Spanish flamenco and have won several awards. In their programs they preserve all styles of the traditional Spanish dances and mix them with modern elements.
Since Antonio Najarro became director of the Spanish National Ballet (BNE) in 2011, he has staged four productions in which he blends the traditional repertoire with new creations. He has turned Spanish dance into one of the most iconic artistic expressions of the country.
«Zaguán & Alento» is the company’s latest production and represents a turning point in Najarro’s career. By combining the classical flamenco dance (Alento) and some elements with a character of its own (Zaguán), it is his most personal show he has ever come up with – a twofold artistic proposal that means a turn in aesthetics and style. «Alento» shows Najarro’s personal vision of the traditional Spanish dance. At the same time it is a reflection of his style as a choreographer. “The BNE is currently in great shape”, says the director proudly.

The National Ballet was founded by the Ministry of Culture in 1978, under the direction of Antonio Gades. Furthermore, the Spanish National Ballet is widely acclaimed by both critics and the public, obtaining numerous awards.

《呼吸》以西班牙传统韵律为起点，混合多种弗拉门戈流派舞蹈，展现旋转裙摆之间的默契与协同。《回廊》由舞团艺术总监安东尼奥•纳亚罗编舞，舞者迈开摄人心魄的舞步，美艳与力量并重，似波浪般翻飞的裙摆，重现独特的塞维利亚地区本土风情和斗牛传统，观者犹如置身西班牙南部，宁静与恣意，忧郁与热烈，种种情绪夹杂的空气让人无从抵抗！
西班牙国家芭蕾舞团
2010年在上海世界博览会中大受欢迎的西班牙国家芭蕾舞团，是世界最顶尖的弗拉门戈舞团之一，同时也是西班牙文化的象征。舞团成立以来，以精湛的演出，获得了来自世界各地观众和评论家的高度评价，并荣获了很多国际著名大奖。1988年，获得了纽约最佳外国表演评论家奖。1991年在日本，获最佳表演评论家奖。1994年，获得墨西哥城的贝拉斯艺术剧院最佳表演评论家奖。1999年，获得了西班牙报纸颁发的大奖。艺术总监安东尼奥•纳亚罗（Antonio Najarro）被西班牙文化部授予国家艺术奖、兰纳达艺术节授予的荣誉奖，以及阿丽西亚•阿隆索基金会于2004年授予的荣誉奖；2002年，安东尼奥编排的舞获得第六届赫雷斯艺术节大奖。
