Mr. Philip Dewar, the general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou, warmly welcomed Lang Lang during his stay at the hotel. Lang Lang visited Guangzhou and held his concert at Guangzhou Opera House on 13 December 2015. Honoured as a “Chinese symbol”, Lang Lang is not only a world grand pianist, but also an internationally famous social activist and United Nations peace ambassador.
