On Friday 4th December 2015, a collection of media representatives, which included magazine editors and professional photographers gathered at the ShiShen seafood restaurant on Shuiwan Road, Gongbei. At the meeting, the representatives were seated in a private guest room with an interior of modern dark chic.
The guests enjoyed a banquet of seafood, which started with each person quenching their thirst with a delicious vegetable drink, tea or crisp red wine. As the appetizers came out, the guests’ faces lit up with excitement. The seafood delicacies were of course present in the appetizer menu, which included delicate, but delectable jellyfish. A short while after, the main course arrived, which was still being beautifully cooked as the guests indulged the entree.
The main course was a mix of fully Chinese traditional style, whilst other foods at the meeting were a combination of both Western/Chinese. A particular favourite of some of the guests was oysters which were wrapped in Spanish ham.
The meal was a complete success as the media representatives each took time after the meal to describe how great the seafood banquet was. Many concentrated their affections on the oysters, which were cooked with creamy cheese.
It was obvious that everyone enjoyed each other’s company as they exchanged information with one another within the ShiShen setting with its vibrant atmosphere. Also, after the meal, the representatives took time to take a few photographs as a group and individually.
