The mooncake box design is based on Mandarin Oriental, Macau’s unique fan, which was originally produced in 1800, featuring exquisite, brightly coloured flowers on a gold background. Symbolising vivacity and prosperity, the design adds a sense of style and sophistication to this year’s mooncake packaging.
Inside the elegant box are four tasty mooncakes in ever-popular flavours, including double egg yolk with white lotus paste, sweet pastry with egg custard and five-kernel with Yunnan ham, as well as single egg yolk and terminalia with red bean paste, all crafted with meticulous attention by the hotel’s team of talented Cantonese chefs. An ideal gift for family and friends, the premium Mandarin Oriental Mooncake Hamper is priced at MOP 2, 988.
